5. Passport issued subject to clearance from Passport Office and police Authorities.
6. Applicant should follow the process of his application in the concerned Passport Office.
7. The Regional Passport Office is the sole agency for issue of Passport. The State Haj Committee has no role in the matter.

The Haj Committee of India has decided that from Haj 2012 onwards International Passport holder only can apply for Haj pilgrimage. The applicant will be required to submit their Haj application forms along with the Passport.
The Karnataka State Haj Committee request to all intending pilgrims of Haj 2012 to get their International Passport ready. As per the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai the announcement for Haj 2012 is from March 2012.
The Chairman, Karnataka Sate Haj Committee has taken permission from Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Bangalore for special counters at Passport Seva Kendras for submission of applications by the intending pilgrims who does not hold international Passport.
The Chairman, Karnataka State Haj Committee requested all the intending pilgrims who does not hold international passport may get help from the following NGOs for filling up requisite passport application form, guidance and assistance to the applicants. |

| Channels for Submission of Passport Applications |
| Channel 1: Physical submission of passport applications at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) |
Citizens can walk-in to Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and submit the filled passport application and supporting documents as "Walk-in" applicants. Only emergency/ medical cases may go to PSK without appointment. Service will be provided at the discretion of PSK In-charge.
Applicants are NOT required to paste their photograph on the application form for applications submitted at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK). It will be captured by a Citizen Service Executive (CSE) at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK).
Self-attested photocopies of supporting documents need to be submitted along with the application form.
Note: Minor applicants below 4 years of age should carry a passport size photograph (on a white background) while visiting Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).
For online applicants
When you go to a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK) after filling your application form online and taking appointment - Please carry the originals of the documents uploaded. Self attested photocopies of all the requisite documents.
Note the Application Reference Number (ARN) of your online form.
Take a print of the appointment schedule*.
Note:* Online appointment is mandatory to walk into PSK for further processing. Only emergency/medical cases may go to PSK without appointment. Service will be provided at the discretion of PSK in-charge for emergency/medical cases. Schedule an appointment with the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/ Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK) that comes under the jurisdiction of applicant residence. |
